This site is run by one person. It collects the least it can get away with, keeps it only as long as it is useful, and sells none of it to anyone.
Who is responsible

What the contact form collects
The form asks for a name and an e-mail address, and optionally a company, a phone number and a description of your project. Alongside them your IP address and browser identification are recorded, because that is what makes automated spam separable from real enquiries.
None of this is stored in this website’s database. The submission is delivered as e-mail and then it lives in my mailbox, exactly like a message you would have written by hand.
Where it goes
Two services carry it, and neither of them is mine:
- Google — outgoing mail is relayed through Gmail’s SMTP servers, so a submission passes through Google’s infrastructure on the way to me.
- Telegram — a notification of the submission is sent to me over Telegram, so its contents reach Telegram’s servers too.
Nothing is shared beyond that. No advertising network, no data broker, no mailing list.
Spam protection
Every page of this site loads Google reCAPTCHA v3, which watches how a visitor behaves in order to score how likely they are to be a machine. It runs whether or not you ever open the contact form, and it is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms.
Cookies
There is no analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, no Yandex Metrica, no heatmaps, no advertising pixels. Three things do set cookies:
- origin — records the address you arrived from, for one day. It tells me which channels bring work in. First-party, and unreadable by scripts.
- Language — remembers whether you chose English, Russian or Ukrainian, so the site does not reset on every page.
- reCAPTCHA — set by Google as part of the spam scoring described above.
How long it is kept
Correspondence that did not turn into a project is deleted once it is clearly going nowhere — usually within a year. Correspondence that did turn into a project is kept for as long as the project and its warranty period last, because it is the record of what was agreed.
What you can ask for
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you do not have to explain why. Write to mailbox@konstantinsorokin.com and I will do it and confirm when it is done. If a request would take longer than a few days I will tell you why.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions — the current one is the one that applies.
