Custos was a smart water protection system built around a leak sensor and a motorized ball-valve controller. I developed its original WordPress presentation website and created the product photography, videos and renders for it. Together, the site and visuals showed what the devices look like, how they fit into household plumbing and how the system responds to a leak.
The website had to make an unfamiliar piece of home technology easy to understand: start with the device itself, show it installed on a real pipe, then demonstrate the sensor and the shutoff action.
Show the product in context
Close-up images of the valve controller on a copper pipe gave the product a clear scale and purpose. Water, hands and installation details brought a practical setting to the presentation, while clean renders separated the devices and their components for a closer look.
Make the mechanism understandable
The product page moved between isolated device views and images of the controller fitted over a ball valve. This visual sequence helped explain where the unit sits, how it is installed and what it controls without relying on technical specifications alone.
Product videos
Three short videos complete the visual explanation: the water valve, the leak sensor and the valve installation. Together they show the physical products and the steps that still photographs cannot convey as directly.
